The Be The Match®Patient Support Center provides support, information and resources for transplant patients, caregivers and families.
We are here to help you get reliable, easy-to-understand information from diagnosis through recovery. Call or email us for confidential, one-on-one support from caring experts. We'll listen and help you find answers. All of our programs and resources are free.
Our services include:

Helping patients afford treatment
A gift to Be The Match can support a patient and family going through the transplant process to offer healing and hope.
Not everyone can afford the life-saving treatment they need. Costs such as the search for a marrow donor, complex matching, travel and lodging when the transplant center is far from home, prescription co-pays and many other transplant-related costs may not be covered by insurance. Be The Match is dedicated to making transplant possible for all patients – but we can’t do it alone. We rely on generous contributions to help patients receive the transplant they need.
We offer financial aid programs to help patients pay for the cost of a donor search and for some post-transplant expenses so they can focus on healing and recovery. In 2022, we provided $6.1 million to more than 2,300 families through the Be The Match Patient Assistance Program. Lives were changed and saved because of patient assistance funds and the generosity of our supporters.
